VP of Talent Acquisition focused on the areas below.
Position Summary:
- Responsible for the development and implementation of recruitment for talent at all levels within the organization to allow for achievement of strategic company goals.
- Create strategic talent planning and acquisition for leadership and other critical roles within the organization.
- Direct and ensure effectiveness of the enterprise recruitment function, impacting long-term and short-term success, profitability, and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the current use of talent acquisition processes, structure and tools; develop, analyze, and report on metrics and qualitative data to improve service delivery and effectiveness. Develop sourcing, recruiting and selection strategies.
- Design and implement talent acquisition programs (i.e., internship programs, employment branding initiatives) that positively strengthen the organization’s capabilities in attracting, assessing, selecting and onboarding best-in-class talent.
- Lead partnership with corporate leaders to conduct staffing needs assessments and develop staffing plans.
- Manage contractual relationships with placement agencies, contract recruiters, job boards, job fairs and various internet job search websites. Monitor performance, provide direction and take corrective action when needed for all preferred external staffing vendors.
- Assess performance and development potential of team members to ensure their success and continued career growth. Provide honest and direct performance coaching and feedback. Ensure that the team works well together in terms of goals, standards, tactics, and provides a high level of client service resulting in customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with OFCCP, AAP, EEO, current laws, regulations, and company policy related to recruitment and placement. Manage Affirmative Action plans for the company.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and 15+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management preferred.
- Eight (8) years’ experience managing others.
- Proven expertise in relationship management; strong consultative skills.
- Advanced ability to develop recruiting strategies for the sourcing, evaluation and selection of corporate talent.
